December 2009

Pictures of the kiddies from this month.

Change

Change....what is change?  Is it just the changing of a day or is change when something major happens in your life.  I am about to undergo a very big life change and really nothing has changed in 20 months.  Crazy!  It affects my life and my children's life.  I feel overwhelmed, tired, scared, etc...how do people cope with these types of changes.  I am coping by hugging my kids tight and keeping them close.  I can't talk about what is happening yet but maybe I will in time when I have recovered more from it.

Wordless Wednesday

The Princess's Birthday

November 30, 2007 at 2:08 p.m., our princess was born, Anna Elizabeth Caldwell, came into this world and she has been a princess since Day 1.  At 9 lbs 1 oz, 22 inches long, she is certainly not a petite princess but she is beautiful and girly and brings joy to our life everyday.

Halloween 2009

Batman and Batgirl were so cute this Halloween although they were Flash and a Ladybug. Batman ran the entire circle with his friends in about 30 minutes and I left Batgirl at home with Daddy after a few houses. She is not quite 2 and just not ready to keep up with the big boys. Next year will be a different story.

July 17 - A Day to Remember

On July 17, 2004 at 7:58 p.m., Batman, made his way into this world. I thought he was beautiful from the first second I saw him and when I held him it was instant love. He is beautiful and outgoing and funny. There are no words that can exactly describe my first born but there is nobody like him. He has an imagination that is out of this world and he is always creating elaborate scenarios as he plays. He is passionate with everything he does and sensitive which at first glance is not always recognized.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Batman!!!

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

So here is my first Not Me! Monday!

I most certainly did not go to the grocery store yesterday in search of healthy items to keep me on track for my diet and then buy a Weight Watchers dessert and eat both of them in 1 day. Nope not me!

I did not leave clothes on the floor all weekend and not wash them even though they were in dire need.

I took my son and daughter to REI this weekend in search of a new bicycle for my son's birthday and by doing this avoided the pool. However, I did not tell my son that the pool was closed because someone made poopy in the pool. This could not have been me!

Love is a brother and sister......

There is nothing like a brother and sister's love... It is absolutely heartwarming for me to see it everyday. They have moments where they just giggle together and I have no idea what they are discussing. It is what I had always wanted to have with my brother but we never had that bond. We were joined by blood but nothing else. It looks like that will be different for my wee ones. That makes me so happy!!!!

My first blog entry

This is my first blog entry and after reading so many blogs recently, I am not sure that I can be as a witty and candid about my life as others. I am sure that I can bore most people to tears with stories about my kids. My children are the love of my life: Batman is a 4 1/2 (almost 5) year old boy who is non-stop and has the most fascinating imagination I have ever experienced and Batgirl is a darling 18 month old girl who continues to amaze me every day. See a picture of Batman and Batgirl (although dressed as a Pink Pig) for Halloween.
More to come later........
